Nellis AFB Thrift Shop
NACA provides workforce development to the Nellis community by employing individuals in our community to run the Thrift Shop. Donated items are processed for sale and the proceeds then allow the NACA to give back to our community through donations to military and local charitable programs as well as distributing thousands of dollars in scholarships to military dependents seeking a higher education (undergraduate, graduate, or vocational certification/license).
If you have questions please contact the Thrift Store Manager at thriftshop@nellischaritable.org or (702) 652-4765.

Donate Items
Donations of gently used household items are continuously accepted in the receiving bay on the left side of the building.
If donations are not being accepted for any reason, a sign will be posted in front of the bins and an update will be posted to the Thrift Shop Facebook page.
Shop
Every purchase helps create job opportunities for our community and funds scholarships and community grants that directly benefit the military community. The Thrift Shop is typically open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and two Saturdays per month from 9am to 1pm.

Volunteer

Volunteers are needed to help sort and process donations, tag items, place them on the sales floor, create store displays, greet the customers, help customers at the jewelry counter and bag purchases. The benefits of volunteering include making new friends, resume action items, getting discounted purchases at the end of a full shift, and helping the Nellis community!
In the current economy, our military community and local charities need our help more than ever. In order for the Nellis AFB Thrift Shop to continue doing good deeds, we require a team of friendly, personable volunteers. The time you give is worth more than gold! Be a volunteer, we would love to have you!
Jobs
The NACA Thrift Shop proudly employs three staff members, ensuring consistent hours and reliable service for our customers. These positions not only keep the shop running smoothly but also contribute to workforce development within our community. By supporting the Thrift Shop, you’re helping sustain local jobs and vital charitable programs.
